Jon Belkowitz, PhD, PE
Jon Belkowitz, PhD, PE is the President and CEO of EDYSTON, LLC. Before EDYSTON, LLC, he was (and still is) the CTO of Intelligent Concrete, LLC. Jon served in the United States Air Force from 1996 to 2006 specializing in Civil Engineering. His tour of duty introduced Jon to a wide variety of concrete types and uses which were dependent upon the engineering practices of different host nation forces, developing nations, and disaster repair initiatives. Jon has worked in private testing laboratories on structural engineering proposals and materials development projects including the application of nanotechnology in concrete. He has worked as a consultant on projects in the United States, India, Turkey, Africa, Italy, and Germany. Jon completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialty in Nanotechnology in Concrete at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey in 2015.Dr. Belkowitz will serve as the lead for product development and certification in the laboratory. His vast knowledge of Colloidal Silica concrete and its current field applications, concrete chemistry, and material science will be the basis of mix designs and testing. All testing will comply with ASTM procedures. Final candidates for field trials will be selected by the research team following careful analysis and review of the test results. Jon has been the Chief of Materials for Icon3D, and a fractional CTO for Surface Tech, Silica Systems, AkzoNobel, Eka Chemicals, and other concrete/construction companies.

Eric has 30 years of experience delivering reliable, carbon-sensitive, and value-added concrete to construction firms in the Mid-Western and Western United States. During his tenure owning one of the most efficient concrete production facilities in Colorado, Eric continued to adopt innovations even when it required investment of time, money, and materials on his and his company’s part.
